The D1908S "Bengala" is a standout piece in Studio D’Artisan’s earth-dye series. These 14oz jeans take a deep natural indigo warp and pair it with a weft dyed in Bengala, a traditional Japanese iron oxide pigment. This mineral dye gives the denim a warm, rusty-red interior that subtly glows through the indigo surface.
Cut in a versatile Relaxed Tapered fit, these jeans offer a comfortable high rise and room in the thigh that narrows to a clean hem. As the indigo fades with wear, the earthy Bengala minerals are revealed, creating a high-contrast, three-dimensional patina that evolves far differently than standard white-weft denim. Every pair is finished with a custom leather patch, branded copper hardware, and a vibrant selvedge ID.
