S0510XX-BOB Aoki Tachikage 15oz Selvedge Denim Black On Blue Regular Straight

One could easily mistake this jean for the usual black and blue denim, but oh how wrong they would be. Hidden beneath the three layers of black sulfide dye lies an indigo dyed warp yarn waiting to be revealed. Over time, the black dye will wear away, revealing the indigo, which in time, gives way to the natural white core. Meanwhile, the weft yarn is dyed using black sulfur, which will fade over time to a grey color. Samurai has retained their signature silver lamé selvedge line, reminding one of the samurai's blade.

The "Aoki Tachikage" series, which draws inspiration from the image of samurai blade flashing in the darkness, is presented in this model of the 510 regular straight jean. The 15oz black-on-blue denim, blue painted buttons, and navy stitching are unique to this jean, and intended to create a cohesive vibe with the denim itself.
